Melina, I can't say for sure but sounds like an alcohol fueled rant. I feel that in that situation you were damned if you do, damned if you don't.
My thoughts have always been don't make me choose between you or them, if I'm friends with both, because you may not like it.

I hope things work out between you two.

Behan, you are so sweet! Nice job by you and the little nugget to pamper Momma Behan.
This particular species; Androctonus australis;
commonly known as the yellow fat-tailed scorpion
is extremely dangerous. Venom level is 5 from 1-5.

Actually, they, (I have a pair) are quite cute and if proper
handling is done, are totally harmless.

I think the statistics for being killed by an animal
are bee, #1, then dog #2.
And then again there's the hippo.
Deadliest animal on the planet as per kills/year.
Sorry SP. I still luv 'em.

Melina I got a rant from my oldest friend over xmas- also about her ex.
I was so done with the friendship because I hadn't done anything wrong ( and other things) and she was just feeling sorry for herself and I eventually told her that.
She came back a couple days later and apologized.
It turns out it actually had nothing to do with me and she just decided to take it out on me.
It could be something like that too xo

Not saying I'm perfect, but what she was ranting about I was innocent

Why are they so angry?

I love the look on the hippo's face in this one.

I think his lunch was interrupted... notice the grass hanging out his mouth, lol.

Yay for Finn for being such a sweet and thoughtful baby son!
Just got back from morning hike with the doggies. On the way back, I had 2 dogs on their leashes and one off as a man approached. The off leash shepherd didn't like him for some reason. The usually friendly girl barked and acted threatening to him and he was scared to death. I'm sure part of it was his reaction. ...but I wasn't too happy with her cause she's so hyper that I like to let her run.I hope she mellows out...I hate the thought of having to keep her on the leash.
Well...pretty soon we will be walking on the street anyway since the rattlesnakes will be out soon. No one is off leash then...my best girl shepherd (rip) got bit years ago and it was pretty awful. She barely survived the bite.
back to my book!

Thanks guys. I needed the vent and I appreciate your words.

You know what's the scariest part about these days? Bc I don't have a job to go to, it's extremely easy to move the needle with me in a self-esteem or those crunchy prickly self perception ways.

At least I'm aware of it, but it's weird and scary.

I am so defined by working, and going to work, and thinking about work, etc.

I don't regret walking the eff out of that job, but too much free time makes me nuts.

When I'm working there is never enough free time.

The possibilities and opportunities in this life are limitless. I get to choose my path. And that is a wonderful thing. Deep breaths, re-center, acknowledge the work I've done to get here and to fight for sobriety. Pull those shoulders down from my ears. You, too. Do that.

Ok thanks guys. Love you so much!

In other news, I'm 82 hours smoke free.

And I'm getting my first tattoo today. It's going to be behind my ear.

How do hippos kill people? Do they bite them to death or stomp them?

Scary stuff!

Hippos bite the people's boat or dugout canoe
in half, usually with them still aboard.
