Yesterday was an interesting day. Started off well, but due to a snafu with one of my prescriptions, yesterday I had also run out of my antidepressant... And anyone familiar with them knows you aren't to stop those cold turkey. By mid afternoon I was having some strong urges for a beer, and I was feeling a bit off, down, out of sorts... And I realized that part of that change in mood and feeling stressed was likely due to the absence of the med. It occurred to me that if I already felt that way on Friday, attempting an entire weekend sober and with no meds was a bad, bad idea. So rather than wait til Monday (when the pharmacy computer system said the script would be available), I stopped at the pharmacy to find out why I supposedly had no refills left. Long story short, I had a separate refill at home they had auto filled and I forgot I picked up a month ago and it was in a different kind of bottle and I stored it in a diff place than usual. Crisis averted.

So... After that debacle passed, we has a nice family dinner, I worked on my puzzle a bit, then snuggled with my son to watch some tv.

Managed to wake up way to early today... So I shall attempt a nap this afternoon. I'm headed to the pool for laps this morning and then a class at the gym. Perhaps I'll also work on actually staying on top of and ahead of the household chores rather than letting them get out of hand again. :-)

And today I will not drink.
