Realized I'm going thru the grief stages at the loss of my best friend (the bottle).

I am so angry about all of this right now. This too will pass.

"First man takes the drink. Then drink takes the drink. Then drink takes the man."

Beyond the Influence is the update to Under the Influence.
Seriously, this book should be required reading for everyone who consumes alcohol. If you, dear reader, have not read this book; I implore you to do so as soon as possible. Incredibly illuminating and fortifying to one's resolve to abstain.

Week Two Begins Today.

It has been a bit harder adjusting to the permanence of my resolution to sobriety, but this only serves to strengthen my resolve.

Difficulty sleeping, even though I am exhausted during the day. Disturbed dreams. Trying to avoid pharmacological intervention, except ZMA (a supplement good for most men).

Feeling physically bad, but am settling into this new mindset of permanent sobriety. No poison for me, thanks!

Good news GussWest. Just keep moving forward with your sobriety no matter what. Good job on getting to the second week.

Still sober. No poison for me, thanks!

Feeling purdy good, except for sleeping trouble.

Had an interview today, may have found work as an independent scientific sales rep(1099 type). Going to set up an LLC tomorrow, and start planning a few more hustles to go along with it.

Any independent contractors (especially in sales), feel free to PM me with your advice and guidance. Plan to continue to look for a full time gig, and maybe do both jobs in the long run. Unemployment runs out in a few weeks, so might as well try.

Ya know, AV immediately said, "Let's Celebrate!"
Sneaky little weasel. STFU, Donny!
