Painted my desk. Bought some food. Tried to buy a brand new vacuum cleaner, got it home to find it was used, covered in dirt. Returned that pretty quick.
Girlfriend is gone to work for 5 hours. Will be reading SR and doing small projects around the house.

Started this thread on a day 1. May as well continue using it. Day 2 today. I had drank at a restaurant at 4 days.
But I have some newfound hope. It feels like something clicked in my mind today.

Day 2 completed.
Getting tired of saying the same days over and over again, I've definitely said day 2 before.
But I am feeling positive and going to read SR for a while and then my RR book before I go to sleep.
Is there any way to edit my first post on this thread?

That's not day 1 anymore.. but I didn't want to make another thread and spam up the forum any more.
However, I guess it will be okay. Minor. If people are anything like me they'll go to the most recent posts for an accurate idea of how I'm doing.
Thanks Dee.

OK I get you now...but it will make things less clear if I edit the detail in that first post cos people like me replied to the detail
you're not 'spamming up the forum' anyway. It's all good

Always thought it was odd that I seem different. Most of the stories I have heard have the same theme.
They started drinking .. and gradually over time started drinking more and drinking became a problem. My father was like that. He was obsessed with it from day 1 but over a 30 year span gradually needed more.
I see that in myself in the sense I am starting to need more than I used to but what I find odd about me is I didn't waste any time. I started drinking alcoholically from the very beginning.. from the first beer I wanted to drink as many as I could until I got sick.
I'm 27 years old, I started drinking at 21. I don't have the years of drinking most people have .. But in that short period of time it has taken over me.
