Month 3

I was looking at the calendar over the weekend and realized that it is been 90 days since my last drink. The funny part is after not even thinking about a drink for more than 30 days as soon as I realized it ....the first thought that popped in my mind is that I should celebrate with a drink. It is so weird how it just never completely goes away .

Congrats Tatersalad! I know when I get to month 3 again I have to be more diligent. I had the same impulse but unlike you didn't recognize it for what it is or resist it and folded. I did the same another time at 6 months. Stay strong!

90 days is a great accomplishment, and the AV will diminish for sure and you are making it diminish by shutting it down. :)

Congratulations, that's a great milestone!

We conditioned ourselves for so long by celebrating everything with a glass in our hand, it takes time to recondition our minds. The longer you don't drink, the less those thoughts pop into your head.
