Hi, new here. Am almost three months sober after detox and am on acomprosate. Was so so achy and tired but am starting to feel better now. Anyone else feel the same?

Welcome to SR, Piddles. I was never on acomprosate but I did start feeling a lot better physically by the 90 day mark.

campral (acomprosate) can be good for cravings as its meant to numb the craving receptors in the brain... i found the only symptom i had while on it was weight gain, it did help with cravings though

Like others, I do not have any experience with that medication so can't offer any advice or experience on that front. Congrats on almost 3 months though!

Yes, I definitely felt achy and exhausted. We've put our bodies through so much torture. Everything got better though, including the sleeplessness.
