Day 20

Day 20! And I'm feeling good. Today something infrequent happened, it's February 29th. Something that's never happened before happened, Di Caprio won an Oscar. And something I never thought possible happened, I'm able to stay sober.

I slept incredibly well again. Didn't even have many restless dreams anymore.

And it's sunny out, so what am I doing here?? I'm going for a walk!

Wishing you all a good, sober day!

This was a good day again. I made a new doctor's appointment since I forgot my previous one. Now I've set my alarm clock for tomorrow, so nothing can go wrong. I still think nothing is wrong, but I just want to have it all checked out to see if there's something that needs attention after all the drinking.

Today was great! The weather was nice, you can feel the spring in the air. Lots of sun. And I walked a whole lot. I need to move more, and the past couple of days I've really regained my appreciation for walking. And it's becoming a habit again. Once you do it enough times, it's so much easier.

I need to lose about 15 pounds of beer-weight. When I quit, was about 20 pounds. So that's going well.

Generally I'm just feeling much better. Lighter. It's as if when you drink all the time, everything takes so much more effort. And it made me physically heavy.

So, another good day. And... a nice number tomorrow: 21 days!
