A refreshing alternative I've recently discovered a drink that may aid some people in recovery. It's a carbonated mineral water bottled in Mexico called Topo Chico. When I was drinking I had a cup in my hand 7-10 hours a day I was always sipping from. And when I stopped I replaced it When I first quit drinking I replaced it with a TON of herbal and green tea and just plain water. I still drink a lot of tea, but I'm REALLY enjoying this sparkling water poured over ice. Just thought I'd share. |

Thanks Josh |
I like topo chico. Good stuff and good idea. |
Sparkling water is my go to drink.. So I bought a soda stream. |
Ohhhh, bubbly water.... mmmm. I love all things San Pelligrino. My all time fave from childhood even is still the ale... of the ginger variety... I could drink that by buckets full. I love bubbles. Sometimes when I am out and not on a bender, I like a club soda with lime. Feels classy and treat like without added alcohol. |
Yeah, when I was a gigging musician club soda with a wedge was my pre-gig drink, to stay sharp and avoid offers of drinks. |
