What a beautiful day
 

I got to the grocery store early, worked on some chores, then took my son on a two mile hike he requested. Afterward I met with a group for a 25 mile bike ride - my longest yet and good grief it was windy. I even had a roast in the crockpot before I left so dinner would be well on its way when I got home. Now relaxing with coffee while the rest is in the oven

One slight hiccup ... I went to get the potatoes out of the fridge and saw the husband had picked up beer ... It's all good but I didn't anticipate seeing it there or that he had gone out while I was on my bike ride. Had an urge for a moment then was annoyed for a moment then poured my coffee and went about my business :-). I shall reward myself later with a diet soda over crushed ice - love that!

Great day. I know the feeling of booze in the fridge. Always puts me on the defensive. I wish icould look at it like a normal person, instead of the instrument of my destruction. You're doing great. Keep it up.

Way to go. I sure miss cycling (I have a bone disorder in my hip which prevents it), but getting out and breathing fresh air is great. That you got dinner done, AND resisted temptation, is fantastic.
