Agreed, night was very upsetting.
Have you ever read " the god of small things"? I was bawling my eyes out.
Same with " a fine balance"

Late dinner: brown rice, chickpeas, cabbage, broccoli, zucchini, onion, garlic, and a couple falafel balls on top.
No idea what its supposed to be; but it was good!

I went through a N. Ireland Checkpoint while being driven around to give Tech Classes at Seagate, and Intel. The Pic below is pretty identical. Netting all around these Prison-grade Guard Towers to deflect thrown Bombs. The local Dublin-based Sales Rep was driving, and prepped me on how to behave. No sudden movements. Have your Passport ready. Look the part: Shirt/Tie/Blazer/Biz Cards at the ready.

They had Remote Control pop-up Spikes to deflate Tires. From a sloped Metal Bunker ~1' above Ground, there were .50 Cal [1/2" diameter Bullet] Machine Guns pointed at us through narrow rectangles. Blast first, to where there'd be nothing left for the Family to even ID. Ask later.

If you wanted to stop a Pub dead, order a 'Black & Tan': Guinness + Lager. Standard everywhere. Except, that term was slang for the colors of the 'Occupying' Brit Army Soldier Uniforms. Well hated. Instead, you ordered a 'Half & Half'. Travel Etiquette 101...

Over ~1/3rd of a Billion Views of this Song...

Something is wrong with this picture, you all up north are talking about warm weather while the mid Atlantic is in the 30s.

Well spent the last couple hours writting the code for the arduino based boost gauge and the GUI for the back ground. The dang design part takes the longest playing in photoshop making it look nice.

I've cut back on work and so I have extra time.
I like those free coursera online university courses, I signed up for 2.
One is a philosophy and the other is a WW2 one.
I'm looking forward to coffees and doing them- with no pressure like at my regular university

Maffers, sounds complicated to me. I'm in the dark about what those things are for other than some car thingy. I think it's great you can do all that.

I'm done with my ice cream. Almost bed.

Mesa I'll be sure not to order any black & tans from now on. Or half & halfs either

I decided to pick up and start reading a book my brother gave me s long time ago. A history of tsar Alexander II. So far the first chapter is fine. I was a history major.

I would never climb Everest. I've seen the photos of the dead climbers along one stretch and it's sad and grim.

OK bedtime. See you all tomorrow

Weasel. ..the sausage and peppers looks delish. Did you make it in the crockpot?
Brynn....I hope your migraine is gone.
Soberpotamus. ...I'm so happy for you that you ate 4 servings of lasagna! You must be starving from that liquid diet all those weeks. It was making me hungry just thinking about it.
Jsbodhi. ...your friends exhusband sounds like mine.
Well, anyway, I plan to do nothing for the rest of the day. Except watch some movies and grill a cheeseburger for dinner.
Catch you all later.
Nope. I make them on the stove top in a Dutch oven. Wicked easy and takes about an hour between prep and cook.

Night all on Sunday evening.
Beds changed, sticky hands washed, lamps on low for the old cat and sleep walking little ones.

I know I'm not gonna drink cause my breath is steady, my mind is slow moving and I'm grateful.
Not searching, no seeking, no discontent.. And most importantly, no sign of bulletproof arrogance that makes me think I can drink.

To anyone that's thinking about drinking, please don't bother. You are wonderful just as you are.

Night night.
