When you're having fun. I thought today was my 1st AA birthday, Apparently it was yesterday and I was counting all wrong. (DOH)

I got my group meeting tonight, and decided to share for the 1st time. I am a very anxious person, but somehow feel the anxiety has been lifted slightly for some reason. I have worried about this moment for quite a while, The thought of running out of things to say, or getting mindblock. I have a good group behind me there, and thanks to them and SR, my life has improved a great deal. I have also managed to get my younger Brother to meetings, and he is now also 4 Months sober. He could see the difference in me. I know AA is not everyones cup of tea, but it has worked for me.

Thanks again everyone. I couldn't have done it without you, especially when I took my last sip. :tyou

It ain't half. I don't even remember when the obsession left me. Maybe after about 3 months or so. I have surprised myself this past year.
