This was wonderful advice. It has made me really understand how I (and others) have got here and comforted me during the last few terrible days. Learning more about addiction and the effects of alcohol has been my biggest motivation for wanting to stop.

I have been devouring books lately, making use of my Kindle-unlimited account. It has helped immensely to read authors who have walked down this road.

The book, "The Naked Brain" is also excellent.
