Ndatenda

For those of you who have been following my posts , I am glad to post that I am now 3 weeks sober and my recovery appears to be gathering momentum. I now feel confident enough to say that I am back on the road to recovery. After the first 10 days of recovery I still didn't believe that I wouldn't drink again but found that I could 'hang on in there', so to speak , by repeating the slogan , "just for today" , like a mantra. I suppose that the recovery idea is now not so much like a foreign concept since my return to 'the road of recovery' , but I am aware that the illness has a momentum of its own and I need to be vigilant of my AV and be careful not to 'rest on my laurels'. Many thanks , once again for your posts and helping to keep me sober.
