I have had a real sense of my higher power looking out for me today. In the first week I have been to AA I can already feel the awesome force of my higher power looking out for me. It's like I'm being given a second chance. Perhaps this is what happens when you begin to be honest with yourself and live your truth. What a difference a week makes. AA has been a God send. I am truly grateful. Love to you all SR members.

For a while, early on, my higher power was my two dogs, as they were the reason I got up every morning.

you know i'd confused 'the god of MY UNDERSTANDING' meaning my outlook on uh everything i guess...
now it's simply just let go, i've dug a crater with my misunderstanding principles that i am no longer capable of making correct decisions due to the ridiculous amount of chemicals heaped upon myself
a rather abstract force seems to be leading in a better direction now
maybe i don't even have to understand this God, for now anyway
