I'll be 5 months Saturday and think I'll get a pedicure and do something nice for my friends.

With reflection day on day out and gratitude journal.

I keep a journal also and have a little ritual where I read it after 12 months and then burn it.
I see how I've grown and I move on.. Ever thankful.

Actually being able to envision and plan ahead is something I'm getting used to doing: I've realised there are so many places I'd like to visit, maybe buy a few nice pieces of jewellery, new clothes, go to a gym, make plans for the garden - it's all exciting and I'm looking forward to it

I'm thinking I'm going to buy myself flowers every valentine's day from now one. For now I'm just throwing myself a little party in my head going to bed sober each day that I do.

I celebrate every day whether it's here or in a journal, mini & full blown epiphanies are always excellent, seeing the change in myself in terms of self improvement, with my gf/wife of near 16 years, with my friends on SR, celebrate by having a sober dance, with books, by waking up everyday sober to the sound of birdsong, celebrate with nice home cooked meals I litrelly could go on forever sobriety is that awesome

never did I think that I would be alive after 30 and sober yet here I am 33 and almost 3 years sober

Miracles happen all the time ive found out
