I love him, SW. He's so compassionate and kind and I love that he focuses on addiction and the connection between mind and body health.

I like him a lot too. I recommended one of his books in the book sticky yesterday. :01:

What he says about addiction makes a whole lot of sense. I've extremely thankful there are people like him who have dedicated their careers to finding answers and explanations as to why addiction exists in the human condition. It's been an essential part of my healing and recovery.

I agree. His book on addiction, In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts, was recommended to me early in my recovery. It really helped me understand my own roots of addiction, as well as to have more compassion for those severe addicts, many of whom suffered from abusive family environments in their childhood. His book Scattered, on ADHD, is good too.
