I said I would continue to check in and some know I continue to question if I can moderate. Well over the course of 50 days I have had a few drinks on 5 occasions.

I feel like I have got things under control and plan everyday on how I am going to handle different situations. My wife has seen a noticible change in my actions with regard to drinking.

I am going to continue to moderate and continue to check in daily.

Good luck. Sounds like too much work to me. For me abstinence is easier. To each their own. But then again, there is no way I could moderate even for a short time. History speaks for itself. Wish you the best.

I'm another one who found it easier to quit drinking altogether than to try to moderate my drinking.
