The idea that someone can relate to those issues so much gives me a lot of hope that I can in fact get better.

Welcome! And kudos for starting this journey at age 24...I didn't until some bad mental issues (anxiety/depression) and some medical issues surfaced when I was 41. Hang in there! :)
