Talking Day 2 :)

36 hours since my last drink and as ****** as I felt yesterday I actually managed sleep last night and it wasn't as awful as I thought it would be. Today I'm going to drink lots of water and go the zoo in the afternoon with a sober friend and walk around. Yesterday I was too much of a wreck to do anything at all. Feeling tired and groggy and foggy but hella better than yesterday!

Good work SoberLife...an afternoon at the zoo sounds like a great idea...a good distraction and some fresh air x

Well done on getting through day 2. I'm lucky in that as soon as I stop drinking my sleep improves markedly immediately. I hope it's the same for you x

Team SoberLife! You can do it! You are going to feel uncomfortable and experience things that you are not used to dealing with sober, but when you do come on here and post or call a sober friend. Don't pick up that first drink that's the one that gets us drunk. Do you go to AA? If ya don't think about it. You don't have 5o do this alone. AA isn't the only way, but develope some sort of plan.
