Being productive again...
This week has actually turned out pretty good despite starting off with a massive urge to drink. I've found that walking really cuts down the urge and helps work off any pent frustration and anger. I set off and ended up doing ten miles and coming home in the dark! I'd chucked my camera in my bag and was rewarded for making the effort with an amazing sunset that I managed to get a picture of.
So...I decided to pack a bag and go to my mum's for the night and visit Grandma with her (who is in a nursing home). I'd got a print of the sunset framed and gave it her. She loves it and it's going on the wall. So an old woman is happy, I stayed sober and the week was good. It certainly beat sitting at home feeling sorry for myself. |
