Sobriety and Food!

I seem to have been eating like a pig and developed a bit of a sweet tooth. I keep having to make the effort not to just shove chocolate or some other sweet junk in my mouth and eat something proper. Is this a thing that happens or is it just me?! I ate three meals today and some sweet, sickly chocolate bars and could easily eat another meal.

It's pretty typical. You probably weren't getting good nutrition when you were drinking and your body is needing that. Alcohol is just fermented sugar so your wants that too. Having sweets seems to help with cravings so I don't mind that initially.

Like JD said it's fairly typical - things evened out for me again after a while :)
