Good luck! 4 days is a great goal to start with. I have had tons of day 1's and it is always hard to sleep the first night especially.

Had the worst ever dream last night. I had a dream my house was home invaded and i used an axe to fight off the intruders, and there was blood and bodies everywhere. It was so horrible, i felt relief when i woke up.

Dreams like that are not uncommon Oz, but they'll stop in time.

Whats your sober plans for the weekend?

Welcome to SR, ozm8ey; good job on two sober days.

Your dreams should become gentler as time goes by. Maybe meditating before bedtime will help a bit.

I hope that you give sobriety a really fair shot; in my mind, four days is not nearly enough time to realize how much sobriety rocks.

Ok last night i didn't have any dreams but I woke up at around 3:30am for some reason and took me about 30 mins to get back to sleep. So thats 4 days I should probably try and go for more days without drinking, maybe

You can do this, onwards to Day 5!!

Things will get better with more time, when it comes to the sleeping and your body adjusting, hang in there!!

I seem to always feel hungry now, i think its my appetite coming back. I'm used to not eating breakfast or lunch but only dinner and snacks while drunk.

I have to eat more now that I am not loaded up w booze sugar in my system.

At least 3 meals for me. Love eggs and toast for breakfast.

Lots of water, fruit and vegetables.

That is a normal, non drinking way.

Maybe it's your body's way of getting the nourishment it was starving for. I know when I was drinking, I didn't eat right, if at all. Eat all you want. Your body and brain are healing. Give them good food and rest.

Stay sober! It gets better.

I have to drink tonight because I was forced by the government to go to a job seeker even though i have a medical certificate saying I am unfit to work or study but apparently they only accept it a certain amount of time before you're forced to look for work.

I went to the job seeker and they told me I am now required to come in next week and do this job activity like make resume, build skills, etc omg it just stressed me the crap out

Do something to calm them, other than drinking. Listen to some music, go for a walk, what ever it takes.

I know it's stressful but drinkings no solution Oz.

You may actually get something out of the stuff next week for when you are fit for work again.
