30 Days!
Made it through the fog and really feeling good today.
Although, there have been rough days and I now know I can do this!!!
I am ME again! Talking to me sons and staying up later in the evenings (normally I'd be passed out by 9PM). Face isn't bloated and red. No more stomach problems.... amazing what quitting alcohol has done for my body and self image too.
Looking forward to Super Bowl Sunday. I have a party to go to and already told the host I can only stay for a little while. I will just drink soda and be quietly proud.
I owe a lot to this message board. Been a great resource.

Well done! And isn't it a relief to plan to attend a party without also having to plan for your transportation and hangover?
Love your party plan, telling the host you can only stay a little while. Super Bowl Sunday will mark 28 days for me and my plan is that I told them I'll stay as long as I can stand it because I'm not a sports fan.

Or in my case. When going to a party or bar. I would be planning on how not too drink too much. So I can drive home safe and once home get hammered. By Myself!
This Sun will be a milestone if I can pull it off... Ask for a soda and shrug off any people questioning me.
