1 year and 16 days sober :)

What a rocky year it has been. Many ups and downs. But 1 year + later I am KICKING BUTTS!!!
Here an update of what PinkGstring has been up to in the last year.

- Am sponsoring 2 people now since a month 1 and 1 woman is about to start and trying to get one guy to take the plunge
- lost 25 kilos (55 lbs), put on 3 kg of muscle,
- was a AUS Size 16 now AUS8 (US: WAS 12 now 4)
- My liver is back to PERFECT! It was about 20 cm now in 3 weeks a new ultra sound it should be back to 10 cm.
- The liver damage stats were 342 damage where it should be less than 36 it is now 19! https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2c...ew?usp=sharing

- My Cholesterol was 9.8 it is now PERFECT 4.0
- I ditched ALL my meds (10 of them[/B] of which 5 had a warning lable on them for Alcohol) and got diagnosed with ADHD and only have one med to sort this out.
- I am 1 of the 10 finalists for the Win a trip to Bali Bootcamp with my Anytime Fitness Story - how the gym changed my life. I told them my testimonial. And my extremely good results:
I can do 60 push ups in one set, 25 chin ups, run beeptest 12 and 4 km in 20 mins if needed. Youtube proof: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...OvM7dMB3Nj-Uf_

They asked me if they could use my testimonal and stats for heir Australia wide Facebook campaign and website to inspire others.

- I joined a church on October the 4th.
- Got baptised the 22nd November
And if heaven's forbid.... in the same week I got seriously tempted to drink.... and nearly relapsed TWICE! But I had God on my side to help me.....
Story: Long story but I had a backpacker staying at my house he got arrested for selling drugs, I got the cops over to get him arrested and get a tresspass notice against him as I am almost starting a new job as a prison officer.
(Fittest this Saturday which I will easilly pass. - then the final panel interview and I am IN! the job I wanted for years!)
I tipped out his drinks and got tempted to drink the Grolsch beer by the smell and the sound of the bottle tops.
I was OFF all my meds and waiting for the Dexamphethamine approval from the Psych and GP. I was an incredible mess bounching around on ADHD hypers all the time when I went to the pharmacist to ask him for Homeopathic herbal calmin spray!
He gave me some, I sprayed it in my mouth about 4x and right away an EXPLOSION of ALCOHOL IN MY MOUTH!!! It contained 2.5% ALCOHOL he didn't realise.
To get rid of the taste he gave me GLUCOSE CANDIES. I mean I was bouncing around on a ADHD HYPER! and then give me Glucose lillies, NOT A GOOD COMBO>
As I had cravings GALORE I called the mental health line and told them I needed help they told me to go to the Emergency dept of the hospital. I did. They told me to go home! But I refused to leave!
Cos Turning left of the driveway of the hospital was a pub and drive tru bottle O and on the right also. I was at risk of relapsing and did not want to relapse!
I asked them if I could stay overnight since I LIVE ALONE! and my best friends just moved back to America (I live in Australia) so none here to look after me and I did not want to bother my newly found Church friends as I hardly knew them.
They let me stay at ED and gave me Valium to chill and I left the next morning smiling from ear to ear SOBER! - when I got into hospital: I was a broken woman....https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2c...ew?usp=sharing and when I left: I felt amazing for kicking ass temptation and that I did not relapse!

The GP is exptremly proud of me, the physchiatrist says I need to write a book. and become a public speaker as he said how I handled the near relapse is impossible for someone that ony had been sober for 11 months.
So now 1 year and 16 days down the track this is my transformation:

I love your enthusiasm! Staying at the hospital overnight to avoid temptation - that's some dedication to staying sober. Thanks for sharing your story, very inspiring. Good luck with the new job!
