Dry January over....now for the real challenge.

Hi guys,

I'm now on day 32 and going strong. I've posted before that everyone that I know is under the impression that I'm just doing a solid month free of booze, it was easier for me to just go with that story at the time.

My family will no doubt be more than happy for me to stick with what I've been doing for the past month, but my phone will be going crazy tomorrow with drinking buddies offering the chance to reacquaint myself with the demon drink.

I won't be doing it though

I know there are a few people in this situation so good luck everyone

Bruno.

When your drinking buddies call, tell them you're going sober for good.

Hey Bruno, same deal here. I've cautiously started telling select people but the work/drinking buddies will be the challenge. But I'm in a good place so f'em :P

Good luck

Decide what you're going to say to your mates and say it Bruno. I really hope you keep this up

Great effort well done ! Your mates get used to it after a while and your proper mates will respect you for doing what you want to do and for sticking to your guns. All the best !

Bruno, I am on Day 32 as well. How about we commit to Dry 2016, then December 31st we can commit to Dry 2017.

How about the truth.

I am feeling so great decided to keep this up for good -- why don't you join me...

That will shut them up.

Great job! 32 days is plenty. The liver really likes it. Good luck on the continuing sobriety.
