Well, since bim said it's a 'thing' guess it's alright.

Nice job, jryan! And congrats on 10 years!

That is a nice job on that Chevy Mesa, I have not been a fan of "flames" since I was a teenager but I appreciate a quality finish. Have fun in the old mine, maybe you will find a nugget they overlooked

Melina - I am biased but anytime is a good time to visit London. Food is available at the Bridge, no pasties though as far as I know - I heard (can't remember where) that pasties are the shape they are so that miners could safely eat them even with dirty hands. In UK they are called Cornish Pasties

I hear you knocking was my first single, sister bought You got me dangling on a string by Chairman of the Board and mum got Spirit in the Sky by Norm Greenbaum - all three hold up pretty well

I don't want to get SR in trouble so I won't say what I think of Monsanto but I am not their number1 fan

Hi jryan

That's when you post, friend. We're here for our fellow journeyers.

Wouldn't a global field trip be sheer joy! (Could we call it something other than spinstering it, though? Ouch.) Melina, I do hope today feels a little better. Nothing hurts the way the heart can hurt. So proud of you and your beekeeping.

Marty, keeping my fingers crossed for you on the job front. It *always* takes longer than we'd like.

So much to catch up on here that I know not where to begin. Mesa, your post from yesterday about the dog park was another welcome chapter! Sao, if those are your feet, you have chosen nice shoes.

Haven't watched "The Making of a Murderer." It happened in my home state, but on the opposite end. There has been a fair amount of coverage in re: things the documentarians didn't include in the piece, info that supports Avery's guilty verdict. Some of it is rather repulsive and not really stuff to share here. My professional life began as a newspaper reporter. When I hear a story only includes information that supports one perspective, my hackles go up. I keep meaning to ask my cousin what he thinks ... he's a judge in our home state and former prosecutor.

Will check in later. Take care, you dear people.

BTW, thanks a lot, Bim.

Ever since I read you had pumpkin pie for breakfast, I have been seriously hankering it. There's nothing -- nothing! -- like pumpkin pie, IMHO.

Well I've gotten groceries and went driving in the mountains for a couple hours, spicy chicken soup in the crock pot.
I'm not sure what to do now because it's only 12:30!
Maybe practice evil math equations for my geophysics class.

I have a pound of ground lamb to be used this weekend.

Any crockpot suggestions? Am at my brothers right now but when I get home, shall be looking for some type of Moroccan stew recipe.

needed to 'calm down'... when you take the time to 'correct' a paper and explain the reasons, it should not turn into an argument. Trying to explain how something is 'implied' by the way it is written turned into an argument. Don't argue with someone who is always right! Especially when you always think you are right and you're wrong. Two always rights arguing over something only one of us knows...

I did the dishes by 'hand'. As long as they are done right away, no need for dishwasher to work.

When I was a little one it was a treat when we got spaghettios.
I tried it years later as an adult. NASSSS-TEEEE

I did however discover the only way to serve them on the internet.

I had frozen yogurt because I needed something sweet and fast. I'm out of sorts today. Picking kids up from bowling. Day from heck. Forgot my purse when I dropped kids off and with that went my imagined browsing in the book store. Sent home to get it. Mr. Ruby pulled up in his car, bombed out of his MIND. Could barely walk. Didn't come home last night. Nothing like rolling home at 1:30 p.m. argh!!

Vent over. Sao, I want to go to that coffee shop. Cool.

Melina, I've only been to London in cooler weather and had a fine time each time. Twice in January, once each in October, November and I forgot the May trip. I'd go back in a second.

JRyan, good to see you here. That cruise sounds awesome.

Mesa, have fun in the mine.
