I'm back from up north. ..feels like I've returned from another planet. It was a terrific day...just glorious. Mld...you should try xcountry skiing again. I think it's pretty easy to do, but maybe difficult to be really good at. I just glide along and don't do anything fancy. It's fun.
Weasel. ...I would love a bowl of that corn chowder. Looks delicious. I just had spaghetti and I'm still hungry. ..so much excercise for this old body.
so......where is soberpotamus? I couldn't find her recovery thread. I pray that she is ok. Soberpotamus. ...where art thou???

I also disagree with you about working in Subway. I worked as a waitress for a brief period a long time ago and it was the worst job I have ever had. I have worked a few jobs - primary school teaching, office work etc. but waitressing was by far the most stressful, for me anyway.

Although I suppose Subway is not exactly waitressing but it's kinda the same...
I think I like your rabbit Tetra, does he or she have a name?

I suppose Subway could be stressful with the likes of Weasel and his outrageous demands that the bread should be in one piece

BigS, your succulent gardens are gorgeous! One time, the ex mr brynn decided we should have a cactus garden in a corner of the back yard. He dug out an area and put the proper soil in and edged it in with limestone. Then never planted a single cacti! Maybe I'll buy something small for the patio.

Dinner was Mac and cheese....stouffers, not homemade. Pretty good but now y'all made me want garlic bread. Ah...the power of suggestion

It's a pozole kind of night. Tummy warming. I'm so full.

Add an AA meeting, 2 trips moving stuff to the new place, couple other errands and now a trip to Target and I'll put this Saturday in the books as a day well spent by me.
