In the same town I was in Saturday night (Milwaukee, WI) a 21 year old woman froze to death on the street after leaving a party drunk and upset. Reports indicate she had tried to quit drinking before this incident and even had a period of sobriety. But for the grace of God, that could have been me so many times over the past 15 years. Let's all be grateful we found this site before we truly lost everything.

You are right,I'm grateful I found SR, I lost a lot ( two jobs etc) but I have the most important things left. As the love of my son ,Thank you God✨💫🌟

Thanks for the reminder. I have thought that in past too, I easily could have stumbled outside in inclement weather and killed myself. Sad for her and her family.

Why I'm not dead from booze I have no idea. I never planned on making it to thirty. And I didn't care.
So, so many times........
