It is here. I have made myself a promise today that I am not going to drink. I find myself justifying ways to get it done. I have things to do this evening and in my little sick head looking for ways around them. There is no alcohol in the house. I will not leave this house until I am ready to start my evening. Then I will force the car to go where I am suppose to go. I would rather fight with anyone else but myself. I will get through this! I want so much more.

Hey there BE--take a lot of deep breaths, focus on what a wonderful thing you are doing for yourself. Take it one minute at a time if you have to. That means when you feel the urge to drink, say to yourself, I will not drink for this minute. When that minute is up, say it again. You CAN do this. I am glad you have some things to keep you busy.

This has been a good first day. I set my mind to come home right after work and I did it. I ate lunch something I usually drink and now I will find somehting to do here at home where I don;t get the urge to drink.
