Day 3
This is day 3 and it's going well. I feel fine, except for some minor things. First of all, fatigue. Well, exhaustion would be more accurate. I sleep a lot and very deeply and am still exhausted. I remember this from a previous attempt though. It will go away.
Other than that, it was remarkable how thirsty I was. Today during the day I started to feel normal again. But before that I kept drinking water and kept being thirsty. I didn't even go to the bathroom that much. It was like the water-levels in my body had gotten really low at the end of the binge that it was necessary to bring them back to normal.
When it comes to food, I have a healthy desire for food. Nothing special. I do feel like I'm depleted in that area as well and need some time to get back to normal.
I really was in a bad state at the end of the binge. Dehydrated, malnourished. It doesn't feel like I was in a danger-zone, but would have gotten there had I continued the behavior. Especially lack of water can cause problems pretty quickly.
But that didn't happen and I feel pretty good on day 3. I need a good while to fully recover, but that's just a matter of enough water, healthy food, enough activity and enough rest.
So that's it for now!
