You can have reasons, or you can have results, but you can't have both.

Vital Tones Sleep Therapy

Good morning, SR! I've been journaling about my IV amino acid-assisted detox and the various alternative health therapies I'm receiving while I'm here in Georgia. In the journal thread, I've joked about some of them, but one of them is really proving promising -- the "sleep therapy." Several folks have asked me about it, and I PMd a moderator to make sure it was okay for me to share, and here's what I can tell you without offering any medical advice or commercial endorsements:

The therapy stimulates various parts of the brain using soundwaves. It can be used to treat all kinds of problems from depression to Alzheimer's disease. I lay on a massage table with headphones on and listen to about 20-30 minutes of sounds. My "audio program" consists of three musical pitches and sounds like Tibetan singing bowls. It's supposed to restore my ability to sleep after the damage alcohol did. And guess what? It's working! On my second sober night, I slept 9 hours and have slept well and deeply every night since then!

To look into this therapy, google "vital tones" and check out the results. One vendor website actually has some audio programs you can download and play for yourself.

Hope this proves interesting and useful. Sweet dreams!!!

Never heard of these other things you guys are naming, but it sounds like a similar concept and yep, it's been very helpful to me!

Just goes to show the value of keeping an open mind.
