Sincerity
Hope everyone is doing well (or getting there at least)
If you didn't have the greatest of days (due to a drinking/using relate situation or not) hopefully tomorrow can be a better one.
Sometimes its hard to express sincerity and to feel it when there isn't a "true" personal connection.
Meeting on forums calls for a lot of exchanges with people you don't know.
Funny thing is that here, to a degree, we all know one another. Through these issues with addiction and stories told we learn from and about one another.
So whenever I say congrats (sorry I can catch everyone), or prayers to you, great job, etc. I truly meant that for that person and everyone across the board. We all share an understanding of how hard this is and a want to trying to find a better life.
Just wanted to post to speak to everyone on here and everyone out there struggling and not sure if someone is sincerely concerned about them or not.
I think there is a lot of sincerity here on this site and I appreciate it being shown towards me and I hope I've helped someone on here at some point, if only for a day.
I don't have long standing sobriety, but I have the sobriety that I have today thanks to God, you all and everyone I've met in recovery.
Thanks.
(Kinda long my bad)
