Wish the Headache & Fever Would Go Away

Don't get me wrong, I feel better than I have in a long time... but I do wish the headache/fever would go away. Then I'd be AWESOME.

Just goes to show how very addicted to alcohol I was. Four days into a medical detox, taking anti-seizure meds, and still have headache/fever.

The demon booze makes us sicker than we realize!!!

Not really SiS... I did take some Tylenol. Didn't help much.

I figured it was a combination of withdrawal and lack of sleep.

They did go away.

The bigger battle for me was fighting the urge to drink. I stayed connected to SR..what a life saver.

I hope you feel better soon!

Well, at least it isn't coupled with dry heaves, uncontrollable shaking and chills,
paranoia, and bed sweats

Look on the bright side

Hope you feel better soon.

I know with smoking a good reason to stay stopped was that I did not want to ever have to go through that again. Sounds like that might apply here.

Hang in.

Thanks!! I'm glad to know that this is normal. In fact, I'm embracing the minor discomfort I'm experiencing during withdrawal. I want to see evidence that the toxins leaving my body. So welcome night sweats!

Good news - my fever broke this morning.

IV administration of an NSAID is giving me temporary headache relief. 😊
