Good for you dumping the alcohol! Luckily, you came here before you drank. I would suggest re-reading your posts any time you get the urge to drink. That is the real you. That is the person you want to be speaking. It helps me to shut the AV up immediately.

You go girl -- congratulations for negotiating that quagmire. There will be more, but with each victory, it gets easier.

I would make a rule, drink it or toss it (or I guess the trunk idea works too).

Sounds like you are doing great, and have gotten some good advice.

I'll just add my opinion not to worry about your diet right now, and make sobriety your priority. I see many newcomers try to do too many things at once; this is a recipe for failure ("I blew my diet, so I might as well drink too...")

Once you feel stronger in your sobriety, you can think about other changes.
