Hi, Drospie! Pretty well, thanks. I've embarked on the road trip back home and stayed the night in Gastonia, NC. I didn't get a very good night's rest because I had to work late from the hotel, and the bed was uncomfortable. Looking forward to a better night tonight for sure!!
Even with stress, fatigue, and insomnia, I didn't feel the urge to drink. Even waking this morning exhausted and with a sleep deprivation headache, I still feel no urge to drink. Perhaps the therapy really did help!

Reporting on Results!
Sixty-five days sober, and I figured it was time to weigh in with some results.
I feel fantastic, sobriety is wonderful and easy, and there's proof in the pix!
(My first time posting pix; hope it works!)
This is me, on January 9 2016, two days before starting amino acid therapy.
Very casual. But yes, I'm wearing makeup. Note the dry hair, puffiness,
blotchy skin, and haunted expression.
This is me, on March 14, 2016. Again, very casual, with makeup applied much
earlier in the day. Note the absence of bloat, the clear skin, and the bright eyes.
And this is how I look nowadays as I go about my normal business. Here, I am
groomed and dressed in business casual attire. Note especially how much healthier
my hair is (see reflection in mirror).
I can't say enough about how much I was helped by this therapy!

SIS - you look AWESOME! What a difference. I want to thank you for this blog and all of the information in it. It is so refreshing to know that there are other options out there. Reading about your journey has been amazing and I am so glad that you're in a healthy place in your life. I hope to be there soon with the help of Amino's. :-)

You look great Sis!
I am curious what kind of after-care protocol (if any)
is there to amino-acid therapy?
Do you have to eat certain things, take extra vitamins, etc. to keep
your "aminos" up or anything?
Keep up the good work.
You look way younger than your "real" age by the way

said....first time. =)
Aftercare: I used the supplements they gave me for sleep
and anxiety for a couple weeks while I tapered off an Rx sleep
med I'd been using. But now, I just use a liquid multivitamin daily.
The treatment protocol, including aftercare, is based on the
individual person being treated. There's another member of
this site who's going for the same treatment, and her protocol
is slightly different from mine. They start with a lot of labwork
so they know exactly what is "wrong" with the individual
they're treating. Definitely not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Thanks for the compliment about my age. Preservative effects of
alcohol maybe? Haven't aged since I started drinking 25 yrs ago?
Congratulations on your progress SiS.
