Well yeah. On xmas eve when he gave me a rapid list of excuses for why he didn't have my xmas present 'yet' and they weren't very good excuses and I had been thoughtfully picking presents for his sons and his ex who he had the kids with because she had invited us over for xmas dinner, and he thought he was smarter than me and I'd buy that it wasn't taking me for granted he just didn't have time, even though I know exactly how much time he DID HAVE, and it made me sad to see him last minute mismanage his time even gifting his kids.... It was a real bumtron.

There were lots of ways which he managed his time that were real bumtrons for me.

Brynn I haven't actually driven over the USA border since I was a kid, I don't really have anything else to do tomorrow so I might take a day trip.
Haven't decided yet
But I haven't been to montana in years!!

Ah, so close. But not close enough.

Still catching up. Melina, I'd read your manifestos anytime.

JD, hang in there. You just have to summon your grit during the early days. One of the most important things you can do is come to SR when the cravings come along.

Wouldn't an SR trek to London for the Lancia unveiling be a hoot! I know already what I'd wear:

2 years Mesaman? Congratulations! !
well....I'm home from my xcountry skiing adventure. I had the best time of my life! I'm not kidding, it was really fun. Conditions were perfect. ..bright sunny day. I skied for almost 3 hours. But I didn't realize the spot where I went was at 11, 250 feet...so it was minus 18 degrees when I got there. But I was prepared and didn't even feel the cold. As a matter of fact, I was sweating after a little while. And Thank goodness I didn't take my dog. She would have been cold. But it was so beautiful up there. And my car managed just fine. I'll be going more often.
, now that I got up my nerve to try it! Sometimes you have to screw the fear!

Someone absolve me from what I did today:

Never got up except to eat 3 Ritz crackers, 2 little kit kats and bring a thermos of coffee to the bed.

It is 4:30 pm and I am talking myself into showering.

Why can't I ever enjoy being lazy? Sometimes I do but it's rare.

I needed this rest, and I have no pressing to do items, but I feel guilty for slothing it up like a bumtron.

Melina, as long as this isn't your every day pattern, id say sometimes one needs these days. It's for recharging. But don't get stuck like I did for the first two weeks of this year! I was a complete slothtron

I'm slothing today too, Melina! Although I'm watching the Packers game with a few of my brothers, it's a no makeup kind of day. Surprisingly I'm not the only non drinker today! My sister in law is trying to drink just once a week and last night was it. We just devoured huge slices of lemon Bundt cake!

Glad you had fun, haf!

A bit of writer's studio inspiration From my Pinterest. It's helping me, as I get closer to going under the knife, to meditate on the things I want for my future. This is one of them.

The interior one needs a nice big rug on the floor, built-in bookshelves, with floor to ceiling windows on one side, and I'm all set.

Strong winds. Internet and TV down. Feeling withdrawal and eating up my very limited phone data plan.
