SP, Well, a couple years back they got $80 million from somewhere - don't know where. The sale to UA (according to the interwebz) was $475 million this past February. Pretty good for a couple of young brothers, I'm happy for them. I mean, I'm sure they don't pocket the whole amount but regardless, I would think they're comfortable for life now. It's a good site. It was started in 2005, I think...or at least that's when the forums started.

Lovin' Life outside the Laundromat, here, while watching a fab Desert Sunset. Man, it'a been a while since I've hung at a Laundromat, but Sober moi finds entertainment in about anything these days. The Door warns: 'No Alcohol' and 'No Firearms', so I be good on both counts.

Brought my Camp Chair w/Booty Cushion; an Extension Cord; and this Laptop which has a smokin' fast Cellular Modem connection here. I can see the flashing Neon on Dear Ole Mom's fav Casino from here. A comfort in a neato way...

Took MesaDog earlier to that abandoned Subdivsion I mentioned that abuts endless Desert. He had a blast roaring around. So much Whiz to smell. So much time. I walk around like a Bloodhound, just looking at Rocks. Found, and dampened, the one below, and plopped it on my Truck Hood. ~1.5" long. In Roadrunner Cartoon speak, it's WayOldimus Rockatoid. Ran into my RV Site Neighbors from Oregon who decided to make use of this Overcast Day for Trailer Life Chores like Laundry, too.

Many thanks, Sober Friends, for all the kinds words today, and predictably-thoughtful Posts on assorted Topics. That neat Video, Behan, looks quite identical to our Driveway when I left. They put a 'crown' in the Grading, so I didn't have leeway when towing out the RV Trailer last Sunday. Nail the center path, or get stuck. Steady as she goes did the trick.

A Grilled Pork Chop tonight with Stouffer's Spinach Souffle. Clean Sheets and Socks. First World Heaven. And, endless Hot Water in the Mobile Tiny House. Between The Who, and this one, I'll provide Bim some Eye Candy. Stud Muffin Lead Singer Paul Rodgers is an amazing ~62 Years old in this Vid. One of the best Front Men out there, IMO.

Nice one, Tetra!

Thanks, Mesa. That rock looks like someone used it to off someone in the desert. You know that happens around casinos, right?

My mother was worried when I worked at a big casino . . .that I might end up in cement sneakers at the bottom of Lake Tahoe. I said, "Mom, I make $50 a day. As long as I don't steal anything, no one cares about me."

Well of course Mr. Fireman gets here, and they are discharging his dad from the hospital, with a "we have no clue" diagnosis, at 9pm in a blizzard! So, Mr. Fireman is going to go and follow his dad (scared to drive) and take him to his house as much closer to the hospital.

So much for a date night!

Chinese food has been ordered. I'm listening to a sobriety podcast, SHAIR. It's quickly become one of my favorites!

That's the extent of my productivity for the day.

Just got caught up. Loved the football results today. I had to miss the end of the Packer game because my daughter called and said she was slightly stranded in Minneapolis and needed me to pick nugget up at her other grandmother's house 35 miles from here at 7. Her ex gets supervised visits there every other weekend. But I listened on the radio. Daughter should be here soon - she has AAA, thankfully.

Congrats on 2 years, Mesa!
Melina - you deserve a nothing day.
SoberP, good luck with surgery.

I had other stuff to say, but I've forgotten.

Holy instant gratification!

Chinese food came in 15 minutes, courtesy of msg and cornstarch, I'm sure!

I'm gonna don't ask, don't tell this situation bc it's nice and hot and there are good crunchy things in there and I was wayyyy past the point of hangry.

Some times you just gotta fill the tank.

Things that bother me mentally to ponder or ask a therapist about:
Why, as a professional chef, do I starve myself frequently out of laziness?
Why, when I have and deserve time off, do I feel like a sack of crap for doing nothing? Even when there's nothing to do?

Bugs me. Every time I try to change those behaviors, the changes don't stick long. I resist and rebel.

Well, it's time to call curfew on the internet for me.

Did my exercise and meditation today (part of daily regimen I am reestablishing), and now off to read some of "The Tao of Sobriety" (Gregson & Efran) which I just bought for my tablet.

A good night and/or day to all!

I really really hope those people were not for real. But I have a feeling they were.

I have a feeling they were, too. People are too busy taking selfies to know what's happening in the world.
