Week Today
So far so good....
Funny last night at work the woman I work for (who had previously told me she was going sober for the new year) decided she would have "one glass of wine". She had me grab the biggest wine glass in the joint. Like I had to pull it from the back of the row. I guess she figured if she was going to allow herself "one drink" it was gonna be a "good one".
Anyhoo...she polished off that drink and of course, had another. She then started hounding myself and a co-worker to "go out dancing"...cuz she felt like tearing one up. My co-worker had to get home to visitors and I of course am sober (which she knows). She then decided to go to the bar ....alone.
One drink..is NEVER one drink. Twas a good reminder.

One week is awesome, Nuu!
I was that girl at the bar alone every night. Always trying to get people to drink with me. It was a very very sad time in my life.
I didn't want that reputation anymore so I learned to drink alone at home.
That really sealed the deal for me. Took me to my bottom.
