11 days is great. Well done ! Day 16 here and everything is completely pissing me off too. If the baby sleeps so do I and I'm fine if the baby doesn't sleep neither do I and that's when it is very difficult, like today. But everyone on here says it gets better. I believe them. Hope things soon get better for you soon. I sticking with it and will not pick up that first drink.

It's pretty normal to feel annoyed and irritated at this point. Your body has a lot to deal with, so try to hang in there and be kind to yourself.

This can come and go for weeks and once in the while down the road even months sober. I was told by an addictions counselor we took years to get this sick, do not expect full recovery overnight, like you sometimes I have no idea where it comes from and I went through it last evening, I simply went for a walk then did some cooking as that always changes my mood.

This is why early recovery is called an emotional rollercoaster aswell as good days there will be bad days as the mind body & soul rebalances sober

I had days where every single thing was so annoying and irritating in the early days too. That does get better with some more sober time! Yeah, things still get to me upon occasion, but it doesn't feel so overwhelming.

The feelings you are going through now do get better. Don't drink, and you will get there!!!
