Yes, get a lawyer. Remind yourself every day that you are a good, worthy person who doesn't deserve to be treated that way. I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with this.

I got a free military lawyer but they cannot meet until the 26th of this month. They are currently my only option while I am overseas but my mother who is stateside is meeting with another lawyer. I am just praying for patience and perserverence. I am working on updating my resume.
Every time I try to talk to him he just makes me cry so I'm not letting myself talk to him anymore. The lawyers can do that for us.
I'm telling myself not to agree to anything and that the way he is treating me has not effect on my worth as a person.
I'm crying off and on but letting myself feel each emotion.

Thank you for the support. I am really proud of myself for not drinking and the craving has been, for the moment, replaced with determination. Love you guys. Seriously. I'm not sure where'd I'd be if I hadn't had this support.

You inspire me. Glad you got legal representation. He's not worth drinking over and he'll be aware that you didn't pick up. How good will that be for him to realise that he wasn't that much of a loss.

I am glad you are talking to a lawyer, and that your mom is as well. You need to do whatever it takes to get a decision regarding you and the children that meets your needs. As for the resume, my husband was recently unemployed and we had to update his resume, we sent a skeleton to a friend and she made it look phenomenal. I am not sure what type of job you are looking for, but there are lots of companies that help with that, and maybe having a little extra help right now would be good.
Hang in there and keep posting!❤️

Just a few days short of 6 month sober and I'm really proud of that.

I'm so thankful I stopped drinking before this he'll broke lose. A clear(ish) mind has been crucial in making an action plan.

I'm still stuck out of the country but I know that this too will pass.
