What "normal" drinkers dont do...
Wow this thread took off. Great stuff on here.
Normal drinkers don't ride horses bareback at 2 am, decide they are a Navajo warrior, tapthe horses rump to pick up speed and lay in the road for 30 minutes because their tall, furry designated driver galloped off without them.

Normal drinkers don't stuff minis down into their knee socks under wide-leg pants for a college football game.
Normal drinkers don't fill their Subway cup with vodka to endure a trip to Wal-Mart.
Bar tenders don't have normal drinker's drinks poured and waiting because they saw you through the window coming in.
Normal drinkers don't attempt to disguise their alcohol in a black coffee mug.

Normal drinkers can walk away from the bar/party/wedding with a sip still left in the glass. It literally pains me to see people do this .... I would take every last drop from that wine glass and won't put down the vodka and tonic until I have sucked every ounce of liquid from the straw!!!
Normal drinkers don't wake up after a wendesday night at home alone and think "uh, good thing no one is here to see the mess and all the empties, they might think some kind of addict lives here!!"
Normal drinkers are also far less creative when it comes to where to stash alcohol and where to consume it. However, I've heard a rumour that they actually have figured out the use for a wine stopper.

Normal drinkers don't drink in their closets (where their beer and wine is kept).
The next time my AV tries to tell me I can drink normally, I'll come back here and read this thread. There are way too many of these I've done.

Normal drinkers don't write down the things they just talked about with their husband or son. Of course "secretly" in the bathroom. Because they know they'll soon pass out and are at least ready for tomorrow's question, " Do you remember what you said, did, etc" OMYHP!
Normal drinkers actually cook and eat the food they bought with that bottle of wine. Experienced people like you and I, leave them in the fridge to rot amongst all the other groceries that must be purshased in order to keep up appearances on the daily shopping tour. Food kills the buzz, only amateurs don't realise that.

Normal drinkers don't hang out with the hardest drinkers they know in order to demonstrate that "I'm not as bad as them".
Normal drinkers don't dismiss their habit by describing themselves as having "a somewhat awkward relationship with alcohol" rather than admitting the more obvious truth.
