Change is possible! Weekender Jan 8th
Tell me the woman is insane. She always brings food with her. She comes in and takes over my kitchen. Fine. I can live with that for one weekend a couple times a year. But now, I go to eat the soup I made, and she says "Try it, I made it better. It could've used some sugar and spices". This is nuts, no???

We just got home from a long bike ride/run. He biked, and I ran beside him.
My anxiety has been so bad that I don't even feel tired or winded. I feel energized, and slightly calmer. It feels like I could go for another long run!
Pretty cool, actually.
Maybe I should run each time my anxiety gets bad over the next couple of days. It seems to help.

Re. the money saving thing - I saw this thing online where week 1 of the new year, you put 1 euro in a jar, week 2, 2 euros and so on. I have started doing that so hopefully I can save a few quid.
One thing that has become clear is how bitter the rest of my mom's family have become over the will. There are 8 children altogether. One of them said he didn't need anything - he is a wealthy farmer/business owner - and he told Gran before she died that he has enough already.
When my Grandma was sick in hospital in May 2014 and subsequently discharged, she kept asking me to stay with her. This was something I never wanted to do, as she lived with three of my aunts - none of whom were easy to live with!
After I was offered a job at the local hospital, she was so proud of me, and invited me to stay, rent-free. I have always had dreams of visiting India, and after some discussion with my dad, I decided to accept her offer because, as my dad put it "if you can survive sharing with your aunts, you can survive anything, plus it will be good training for India!"
I re-told this story at the dinner party tonight, to a big laugh. Well, we all know how annoying extended family can be, don't we?

I save 15% of each paycheck in a savings account.
I might combine these two savings methods.
