Im pretty sure many artists who are
in recovery have written and sung
about their experiences, strengths
and hopes. Their experiences they
faced before, during and after addiction
and now in recovery.

Write and sing about your life experiences,
hopes you have.

If you've hurt others in the past
or continue to so by character
defects many of all have, write
and sing about it.

Teach the world thru your music
and talent with all you're learning
in recovery.

Research other artists that have
written and sung about their lives
before, during and after addiction.

Maybe like U2.

I think he wrote about and sung
about his relationship with his
father.

Im sure their are many other
artists that are out their teaching
us thru their music how to be kind,
caring, making amends, being honest
etc.

You can too as I hope one day we
can hear your music and recovery
in that awesome gift and talent
you have to share to the world.

It is REALLY good to have you back, Acheleus. You were missed. And it is even better to hear that you are 7 months sober. Congratulations. You have earned this. I hope you will stick around.

Acheleus, it's really good to see you.

I think you have the opportunity to do and be whatever you want to do.

Goodness gracious Sharon...I relate to that sentiment like a tuning fork meeting your pitch. Egad....do I understand.

Welcome back Acheleus. Haven't been here for awhile myself. I don't know how to "multi-quote but Acheleus you said "Something is wrong with her". On some level, there is a little something wrong with us all isn't there?

Last night I was reading the "character profile" of those who seem to acquire the disease ALS (aka Lou Gherig's disease) in the book I'm currently reading. At times, I thought...wow...sounds a lot like the alcoholic profile...at least in the ....isolation and don't want to ask help department.

I envy your musical prowess and truly wish I possessed all that I need to follow my own musical aspirations. Music is such a wonderful way to express emotions we may have a hard time expressing otherwise.

I hope I keep seeing you around ole friend. Sounds like you've come a long, long way.

Hello Nuudawn. In some ways I feel like I have grown but it has been scary learning how immature I am and have been. Im worried about my health because my ex had unprotected sex with other people. Im a little worn out but I am glad to be sober. Im scared i have something from her and it is difficult to even read a book and concentrate. I do not feel safe but i blocked the number and may get a restraining order. She emailed me and i deleted it. It is good to see you back Nuudawn. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
