Hello
After 7 years or so of benders, troubles, and family issues....I've decided to start getting help. Currently on day 3 after a pretty hearty bender for New Years. Looking at some options that are available. I've been to AA meetings before. Which were cool. Just seeing what else is available.
welcome Bon.
Regardless of whatever 'program' you chose. You have to want to stop drinking more than you want to continue drinking.
The importance of any 'program' is learning about and understanding addiction.

Tons of resources on the net, I go to AA face to face, I go to AA Alive online chat, actually start my day with this, very good group, here are two of my favorites plus I spend a lot of time here at this forum:

Glad you are here. Its a great place. Every time I think about drinking I have made a deal with myself. Before I hit the store I have to come here and read posts, my old ones or new ones from others. It has really worked for me. You are welcomed and among friends. John
