Drinking dreams

I woke up at 5:14 having a panic attack. Was dreaming I was drinking. Egads I feel like I have the worst hangover. When I had 13 years sober I had these dreams about every 3 months. I rarely got hangovers when I was drinking. I know the mind does weird stuff, but this isn't nice. In 2 hours I will have 24 hours sober. Drinking tea now but I have to get motivated. I have things to do today.
Everyone have a beautiful day and stay sober

I had one last night too....it was so powerful....I'm still shaking a bit thinking about it. I could smell and taste the alcohol (so my brain thought). It was so powerful. I woke up DYING for a drink....I can still smell whiskey (how can that be)!

You can have reasons, or you can have results, but you can't have both.

Hey, fellow dreamers. At least you guys have semi-sane dreams about drinking. My dream featured a smoothie machine with a vat the size of a beer keg and it made a smoothie out of vodka, beer, red wine, coffee grounds, milk, and a celery stalk and then it exploded, knocking me to the ground.

These dreams are vivid and disturbing, but I suspect that this is the subconscious mind's version of withdrawal/detox.

Dream on!

The mind works in mysterious ways for sure. I can still taste the rum. Weird but thanks any way I am not drinking today. Need to pick up my meds, fill my gas tank, get dog food, and a few groceries for myself. Pick up dog crate cause miss Josie is being naughty. My x-fiancé has the other dog and he peed/sprayed in one bedroom now that they both are gone Josie is going potty where he did that. Yuk so maybe if I bring the dog crate in that room maybe she will stop.

Rambling anyway the mind does do weird stuff!

Dogs are very sensitive to change. They do the three Ps: peeing, pooping, puking.

I know she is depressed, but not sure what to do about it. She only pees. From the day we got her from the shelter she has never gone in the house.
