You are choosing closure in the best way you see fit and I respect that, it's not about how you knock it on the head it's about whether or not it stays dead ;-)
Some of my closest friends are drinking buddies and I am going to have to find other ways to spend time with them.

Yeah there was a mix in responses to my Sobriety too, some were supportive, some weren't, some were very negative, and others became curious with regards to their own drinking!!
