If this Rain keeps up, me and my SmartAzz comments can be found down in the Gulf of Mexico. A few hundred Feet from this Campsite is this amazing Arroyo seen while Hiking MesaDog around this Morning while no Rain was happenin'. Glad I grew up in the Desert, so I can 'read' this.
There's about 6 Stone Memorials in the Pic foreground. Given the placement of them, it's a sure bet they're Flash Flood Victims over the Years. Note the lil eroded drop-off in the middle of the Pic, and the new, dark colored, cracked Mud in the Pic foreground. And, lots of exposed Stones where the Soil is washed away.
Why I stick to higher Ground, and don't cross these Washes. That said, amazing Desert smells and sights this Morning. In a wonderful memory of Saturday Morning Cartoons, I saw 2 Roadrunners this morning. Meep Meep!

Hope you are all having a lovely night. It's kinda wierd being in the pacific time zone (vacation), seems like I'm behind everyone.
I just went to my brothers martial arts class. Oh Lordy I got my butt kicked. But it was good. He didn't beat up on me at all like when we were kids, but I must have had a flashback because I broke his punching pad thingy. Lol. It was really great to see him in his happy place. It is so important to him, I wanted to be a part of something he loves.
There is NO WAY I would have done that three years ago as an active drinker. All that running and kicking and stuff, I would have to stop drinking for a couple days prior to pull that off, and that would seriously cut into my drinking time! Yep, three years ago I would have made some lame excuse and missed out on good bonding with my brother and best friend, who I only see once a year anymore.

Well, the yesterday's cleaning went wrong. Big time.
I put some cleaning stuff to leave it and let work for some time, while I was cleaning drains and so on. It smelled really strong and apparently had some toxic ingredient.
I hardly finished the cleaning when my head just started splitting. I went to bed and it got worse. Then I felt all the symptoms of intoxication and was afraid to fall asleep and got sick in bed.
It eventually got better and I slept like 10 hours .
Horrible.
Freaking cleaning.
