6 litres of beer!!! As i sit here drinking my 2 litre bottle of Evian mineral water it occurred to me that it's not that easy to drink 2 litres without consciously remember to drink... Yet sometimes i have drunk 6 litres of beer (12 pints) in 4-6 hours now if that's not proof of a physical craving I don't know what is. I would find it almost impossible to drink 6 litres of water in 4 hours in fact it would probably be harmful!!! Madness |
Indeed. I've had that thought myself. Fortunately, beer isn't fattening. </sarcasm> |
Yep, I don't know how I could stomach all that beer as I would regularly drink up to 16 pints of beer in a night. Just the sheer volume of carbonated liquid is ridiculous. |
Through a Sober lens many of my actions and behaviours now just seem crazy!! :) |
Same here. I put away so much high gravity beer I have no idea how my body could process the liquid. The disease boggles the mind. |
And then I wonder how I put on 50lbs in 2 years lol |
You know, I have never thought about that. I also would often drink upwards of a dozen pints of beer in a night. The same equivelant of hard liquor was barely a mouthful, so I only ever thought in terms of the alcohol and the damage that it was doing to me. But reflecting on my consumption when I was mainly drinking beer, I don't know how my kidneys didn't blow out from the volume of liquid. I still drink a large volume of water and seltzer, but if I tried to drink 12 pints of water in a few hours, I might explode. |
Yeah, this is pretty hilarious. I was thinking the exact same thing this weekend. I'm now on a tea drinking kick, and after about two cups, I find myself saying to myself "I'm good." However, I remember my drinking days I'd throw back about 5 times that in alcohol. Yikes! |
Beer is a rental. One in one out :) |
