Nothing
I think that is a question only you can answer, welcome and thanks for reaching out. For me I had to ask does alcohol make me the person Andrew can and wants to be, the answer was always no, so the next question was always so what do we do, in my case stop, next is how, ask for help, go to any length and make a plan. For me I had to determine why I drank in the first place, just the way my clear brain works, I found out so that is what needs to be worked on because for me I will never drink again, I do not like what it does, who it hurts and what it takes away. I like and love life sober, so why did I drink.....that for me was the turning point in recovery.
If you honestly want to stop and you know why, we can help you, for now put it away, dump it out and get some rest, then when your head starts to clear it's a lot easier to offer suggestions that have worked for us.

Even if you can't sleep just rest, depending on your condition maybe a walk even if it's short worked and works for me, I am at peace when I am outside and god knows we all can use a little more peace. I am not sure where you are but there are many toll free help lines you can call, sometimes they will even offer to send someone to talk to you but the first two steps you have taken, reached out and poured it out. Congradulations
The good news is it gets better every day, that I can guarantee. Maybe while you are lying there think about where you want to go and who you want to be, it helped me put a plan in place so that I knew what I had to do and I shared that plan with professionals, tweaked it a bit and now it's up to me and I work it hard.
Shanti,
Tomorrow will be better than today, and the next day better than that. It takes time. Alcohol is a depressant and messes with your brain transmitters and central nervous system. As you add up sober days, your body and brain begin to heal. You will start to feel better, but not until you remove the poison that is causing you all of this pain. You CAN do this! Believe in yourself. Make 2016 the year that you reclaim yourself

You can have reasons, or you can have results, but you can't have both.

Yes, you can definitely get out of the nightmare.
Lots of people on this site got out of the nightmare and have been enjoying happy, healthy, sober lives for years!
And on the other hand, lots of people here (like me) are just starting to fight their way back from the edge. When you feel better, check out the class of January 2016 thread. All people who are getting sober this month.
Rest up and I hope to see you post back soon!

I can already see some things in your posts that are going in your favor: You are home, in bed, safe, reaching out here, and praying. You've poured out the alcohol. You are starting NOW; not waiting till tomorrow.
AND--You really WANT this misery to end. You're searching for answers. The advice given here great.
That "nothing" you feel? I really don't think it's nothing. It's something. You're something. You are a beautiful soul. Alcohol has had its heyday with you, now it's time for you to honor yourself and stop putting that crap in your body.
