sleep...

Ive gone from a compete insomniac to somebody who goes to bed by 9pm and sleeps till 8am, i have the most amazing dreams since ive stopped drinking too! My bed is my new best friend, so long bottle of red i dont think about you any more!! Infact, i have been given 2 bottles over christmas and feel ok about them being in the house. Not on display but right at the back of the cupboard. 36 days and i feel that coming through a really quiet family christmas has really helped. My problem time of day would be between 5-7pm, my routine now consists of tea and paper, or quiz. I have loved being sober this christmas, and my children and husband have also loved having their mum back, we have laughed at the silliest of things and right now i never want to go back to the old me. X

That's great news zlhzlh! Consider yourself very fortunate to have the luxury of deep/all night sleep so soon after quitting...it took me weeks/months to get any sort of regular sleep routine back in place.

Congrats on 36 days!
I also was able to sleep well after the first few nights. I felt pretty blessed by that.
I hope I have the same experience this time. It really helped to keep me on the right track the first time!
